After getting tired of the symptoms above, I decided to take matters in my own hands. I WENT SHOPPING.
I tried out pretty much every mattress I could lay on, and one day, like a brick from the sky, I laid down on the Threm-A-Rest Evolite and #BAM. I was in heaven.
This thing packs up in a fanny pack, weighs barely more than a pound, and sleeps like a high end bedroom mattress at the Ritz Carlton…..
Seriously, you can fillit up in 4-5 good puffs.
It has a mid line foam support that is great for side or back sleepers in addition to the air.
The material is soft, and quiet even when you move or roll around.
And it packs super easy in a small bag and is well equipped for through hiking or just a weekend jaunt.
So, the short story is. This pad is amazing. If you are looking for the best all around pad to be comfortable and economical while thinking about weight and size for filling your pack, you need not look any further.
I’d propose you get one for yourself. After using this thing three times, i can say without any question, Best Sleep In The Woods these three times, than any of the 30 years prior on many other mats and pads.
